Where do the funds we raise go?
Money raised by the club throughout the season covers our operating expenses with no profit to the club. Any funds remaining after the operating costs are covered are donated to the Seattle Thunderbirds organization as a contribution to the WHL Scholarship Program on behalf of the team.
This fund is used by the league to cover educational costs to players that move on from the league into higher education programs, if they do not move on to become part of an NHL organization.
How can I contribute to your fundraising goals?
If you are not a member and do not wish to become one:
You are welcome to donate monetary funds or physical items without club involvement at the Booster Club desk on the concourse at every home game. Monetary donations can also be accepted though the donation button at the bottom of this page, or you may reach out to us at info@tbirdsboosters.org if you will not be at the arena or do not wish to donate online.
If you are already a member or plan to become one:
Your membership is your first contribution! All membership fees go toward the stated objectives and budget of the club.
We host multiple club member and player only events throughout the season. These events have a cost associated with them, of which club expenses are covered with all remaining funds going toward our fundraising goals.
At each home game, we are able to provide photo opportunities with the 3 stars of the game, thanks to the generosity of the Thunderbirds organization.
We are always accepting donated items to sell at the desk at the home games or include in auctions/raffles. Most items are accepted, but there are a few guidelines. We do not aim to compete with the team store and we do not sell items with the official Thunderbirds logo. If you have any questions about an item you are considering donating, please stop by the desk or email info@tbirdsboosters.org.

These photos are a selection of some things that have been sold at the desk during previous seasons. We sell a variety of unique, limited items each season that are handmade or specifically created as donations to the club. Calendars, player cards, and multiple styles of bracelets and key chains are available more regularly.
You're always welcome to stop by the booth during games, attend a general meeting, or email us with other fundraising suggestions.
Donations are always accepted online. All funds donated go toward our operating costs and the WHL Scholarship Fund. Click below to donate online.
